Vulcan Mine Modeller for Open Pit
The Vulcan Open Pit MineModeller provides a complete set of modeling and design tools for open pit mine engineers. This bundle features a complete set of 3D tools for toe/crest , ramp, phase, and dump design along with all of the standard CAD and triangulation tools.
Features:
- Advanced CAD design and triangulated modelling techniques for creating and modifying open pit mine and ramp designs and dump or stockpile designs
- Integrated, flexible tools allow engineers to build the mine plan according to constraints determined by inputs such as block models, survey, assay information, geotechnical and other planning requirements
- Dump Design allows you to visualise and save the dump intersection polygon with the topography in a layer, and incorporates routines to automatically find a target tonnage. Once a dump has been defined, divisions can be generated within the dump to differentiate according to the tonnage
- Performance by Phase Bench stores the average width and length of a variable (such as a pushback) in the block model. This information can be classified into benches to incorporate performance vectors, which are stored in the block model for later use. Chronos schedules can use this data when developing production plans
- Progress Maps allows you to create a progress map layer for each mining period based on current topography, pushback designs, and scheduling information. Topography is clipped according to a specified elevation for each pushback and period
- Phase Generator allows you to automatically calculate the tonnage or profit from a block model for multiple pit phases. Flexible reporting provides output in common formats
