Channel Sampling Module

The Channel Sampling module allows users to create and edit channel sample locations and orientations and store them in a database as a 3D sample. The main use of channel sampling is in underground mines, although its use could be extended to open pit mines.

Features:

Digitise and edit channel samples from either a map, or interactively on the computer screen
The Channel Sampling module provides the advantage of drawing the 3D structure of a channel, e.g., its length, direction and height, whereas generic sampling can just display a 3D line segment for the channel
Channel samples can be interactively analysed using several methods that are more difficult to apply to generic samples
