Peter has over 25 years experience in the mining and exploration industries including more than 17 years in Maptek.
Peter has expert knowledge of the Stratigraphic capabilities of Vulcan and was instrumental in the introduction of the Integrated Stratigraphic Modelling workflow and HARP models to Vulcan.
Peter has been involved in many consultancy projects covering a range of requirements for companies such as Thiess, BMA, Xstrata and Peabody. Peter has also presented many Vulcan training courses, including custom content. He has a passion for solving your problems and ensuring development ideas make the leap from client need to general capability in the software.
Peter manages a long-term, project-based development team to ensure that Vulcan remains in the vanguard of stratigraphic modelling, mine planning and reporting.
Since being introduced to Maptek software as a student in 1990, Mike has accrued some 25 years of mining industry experience, including 14 years as a Vulcan user, joining Maptek Technical Services in Adelaide in 2006.
Mike applies flexible training methods, from undergraduate and academia, from small-group consultants and large on-site mining teams. His customisable training skills set has taken Mike across Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and Mongolia.
Mike has experience across the broad mine planning cycle, in both underground and open-pit drill & blast production environments.
Susanna is a coal geologist with 4 years of mining and exploration experience gained in coal and coal seam gas. She has worked in Central and South East Queensland, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley for both small and large operations. Susanna joined Maptek 1.5 years ago and has focused on stratigraphic, run of mine and block modelling applications.
Susanna enjoys training and is passionate about applying her problem solving skills to help clients solve problems and achieve their goals.
