A: Open Maptek Vulcan 8.2. Navigate to the Help\About menu item. The versions displayed will show as 8.2.1.21.

Some users may be prompted to insert the 8.1 installation disk in order to continue installing the patch.  This occurs because the patching mechanism cannot located a cached copy of the 8.1 installation database.  If this happens to you, please insert your Maptek Vulcan 8.1 disk and select the file prompted by the message window.

Installing this will remove Vulcan 8.0.3 and install Vulcan 8.0.4. This is available from your local Maptek Office.

Vulcan 8.0.4 Patch Installation (100mb)
A patch installation is available. The Vulcan 8.0.4 patch builds on the Vulcan 8.0.3 install and cannot be installed over a Vulcan 8.0, 8.0.1 or 8.0.2 install. It must be installed over an existing Vulcan 8.0.3 install and requires a Vulcan 8.0.3 CD.
