Vulcan 9.1 Webinar – Borehole Geophysics

Vulcan has long had versatile tools for visualising geophysical data alongside a drillhole in 3D space. Maptek has now added a new method of visualising geophysical data alongside a drillhole; intervals can be added, deleted or moved in the hole using the geophysical traces to guide these interpretations. Multiple holes can be loaded in separate windows to allow comparison between different traces in different holes. In this way, correlation of particular features, horizons or ground characteristics can be made between holes using the geophysics and the depths of samples and contacts adjusted visually.
