Watch to learn how to apply unfolding to grade estimation and variography. In Version 10 unfolding has been greatly improved with new tools which give the ability to:
Apply projection unfolding to vein type deposits by allowing the data to be projected against an arbitrary plane;
Create custom anisotropy models to locally reorient search ellipsoids or to apply Locally Varying Anisotropy unfolding. Models can be created dynamically using a new ellipsoid interpolation scheme;
Calculate variograms simply and accurately with unfolding;
Apply unfolding techniques to simulation.
Vulcan Data Analyser Connectivity allows geologists to see in 3D space the locations of samples they’ve identified as being of interest. Find out more about Vulcan training here: www.maptek.com/training
The Block Model Distance Function records a distance between each block in the block model and a given group of objects, which can be really useful for fast haul distance analysis, estimation validation, and clearance or standoff zones among other things.
