Joseph Kwiri is a holder of an MSc and BSc in Mining Engineering. He is a registered Candidate Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa and affiliated to several mining institutes which include, Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, South African Institute of Rock Engineering, and Mine Ventilation Society of South Africa. His 5-year career within the mining industry, postgraduate, has allowed him to work in different specialties that include production, rock engineering and mine planning. He is well conversant with different commodities inter alia gold, platinum, coal and zinc. His competences lie in mine design, mine planning, project management and implementation and blasting both for open pit and underground mining.
