We are seeking an energetic Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team based in Adelaide. You will be responsible for assembling, calibrating and testing instruments in accordance with established procedures. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this role will include system and module analysis requiring the use of various electronic test equipment, specialised computer software and hardware, system assembly, disassembly and re-build. Duties will also include assisting the research and development team in various tasks.
You will have had experience in fine mechanical/optical assembly in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to high reliability soldering and knowledge of computer systems will be an advantage. To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate an ability to assemble precision mechanical and optical parts, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to handle systems weighing up to 15 kgs.
