Maptek launches new website to better serve customers

Mining solutions provider Maptek™ has launched a new website to follow on from the release of its new brand at the end of 2008.

‘Maptek prides itself on having listened to our customers for the better part of 30 years. Since the web presents a great opportunity to communicate important information about our products, services and expertise, improving our online presence is an essential step,’ announced Maptek CEO Barry Henderson.

New design and navigation at www.maptek.com make it easier for visitors to find what they want.

‘However, the changes are not just cosmetic’, added Henderson. ‘We have combined all of our product websites under the maptek.com ‘umbrella’, with re-written product information and improved site search functionality.’

‘This allows us to highlight the total solution that Maptek can deliver throughout the mining value chain – all in one fresh-looking location.’
‘Favourites, such as the password protected area for users and product case studies, have been re-vamped. What’s more, we will continue to introduce new features to better support our customers’ needs.’

Spanish and Portuguese language versions are expected to launch in May and enhancements will be ongoing. Blogs in which experts share mining insights and product expertise will be one of the first new features to be launched.
