Amanda Davis is an experienced Technical Services Manager and Engineer who has spent over 16 years applying her expertise at Maptek. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering with a minor in Business and Economics from the Colorado School of Mines.
Amanda’s strong foundation comes from her field experience in underground hard rock and coal, where she managed tasks such as underground surveying, ore control, mine expansion design, and 3D modeling and optimization. Her core passion lies in resource optimization for both open pit and underground operations, alongside production ore control and reconciliation.
In her current role, she is a vital technical mentor for Maptek staff and delivers essential technical support and implementation guidance to a wide range of Maptek North America clients.
Amanda Wahrer is a Mining Engineer III with focus areas in scheduling and mine planning. In addition to her main roles as a trainer and consultant for Vulcan and Evolution topics, she serves as the Technical Lead for the Open Pit workspace with Maptek’s Product Strategy team.
In this role she leads an internal global steering committee to prioritise feature enhancements based on client input. Amanda W graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Mining Engineering.
Prior to joining Maptek, Amanda spent the first 8 years of her career working for Kinross Gold Corp in production at gold mines both domestically and internationally with a focus in short term planning.
Jocelyn Mancia is a Mining Engineer III with Maptek Technical Services. She holds a bachelor's degree in Mining and Minerals Engineering, along with a minor in Geoscience, from Virginia Tech.
In her role, Jocelyn delivers expert technical support, training, and on-site implementation services to Maptek clients, with a focus on Mine Planning, Geologic Mapping, and Drill & Blast solutions
She is committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring clients achieve successful outcomes through effective technical engagement.
Cameron Baker is a Mining Engineer II with focus on scheduling and mining planning. Cameron graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.S in Mining Engineering.
Cameron’s foundation comes from field experience in open pit hard rock mining where he managed tasks such as ore control, short range planning, mine design expansion, and pit optimization.
His current role within Maptek helps deliver essential technical support, training, and consultation guidance to a wide range of Maptek North American clients.
