Maptek Presentations at FEM

Join Maptek for our product showcase at the 9th Fennoscandian Exploration and Mining Conference (FEM) the 29th – 31st of October.

Maptek will be hosting sessions and giving presentations in the business centre meeting room at the Levi Panorama hotel lobby.

Technical demonstrations and product commercial discussions will take place at 13:30 on Wednesday the 30th and 10:00 on Thursday the 31st.

Maptek will be showcasing Vulcan 9, scheduled for release this year, which introduces a variety of new features and functionality including:

  • Vulcan Implicit Modeller, which can model both rock codes and grades, comes  standard with the Vulcan geology bundles.
  • Enhanced memory management capabilities allowing users to take advantage of all the power and memory available in modern PC’s.
  • A new graphics engine which takes advantage of the power available in the latest PC graphics cards, allowing users to more efficiently visualise and manipluate large data.
  • Updates to the mine design tools, as well as enhancements to the Stope Optimiser tool, Haulage Profile, and attribute qualities of CAD and object data.

In addition to Vulcan 9, Maptek will present the I-Site product family including the recently launched I-Site 8200 scanning device which is optimised for underground data collection. Complimenting the I-Site product range is the new PerfectDig software product. PerfectDig allows mine planners and managers to quickly and easily study excavation activities as they happen.

All this and more will be on show at the Levi Panorama hotel lobby at 13:30 on Wednesday the 30th and 10:00 on Thursday the 31st.
