Meet Your Trainers:

Maureen Moore, Geosciences Manager, Maptek

Maureen Moore is the Geoscience Manager in Technical Services, with a special focus on training, support, and on-site implementations for clients and universities. She also works on consulting projects, building client relationships, customer support, and product development testing, and leads the geoscience team in these efforts.

Maureen graduated with her BSED in Geology Education and BS in Geology from West Chester University, a MSc in Economic Geology from New Mexico Tech, a MEd in Adult Education and Distance Learning from Penn State University, and a certificate in the Citation Program in Applied Geostatistics.

She has worked as a geologist for 18 years in the environmental, exploration, research, education, and mining industry across North America. Maureen has worked with the Maptek team since 2014.

John Swenson, Geologist, Maptek

A Maptek employee for 30 years, John Swenson has been responsible for the successful operation and oversight of the North American Technical Services group, including strategic planning and execution of services delivered.

John initiated the Technical Sales Support group and was responsible for oversight of demonstrations and trials for the group.

John has experience with geological modeling, geostatistical analysis, grade control and geotechnical analysis. He graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in geology and has a citation in Applied Geostatistics from the University of Alberta.
