Miguel Angel Ruiz Miranda graduated from the Mining School of the University of Sonora in 2001, his career began as head of engineering at Gammon Lake, Ocampo mine, in the state of Chihuahua until 2012.

Then he was transferred to Mina el Chanate in Caborca, Sonora, with Aurico Gold due to the merger of the company until 2018.

Later, he continued in the El Chanate mine at the “Cerro Pelón” and “La Yaqui Grande” projects.

He currently serves as Technical Services Manager at the Mulatos Mine, Sonora with Alamos Gold.Inc.

Ruiz has been a Vulcan user since 2009 and later was the main integrator of PointStudio, the Sentry laser scanning and monitoring systems in both El Chanate mine and Mulatos mine until today.
