Mining blocks Generation employs a simple, repeatable approach to preparing mining blocks for scheduling. Adjustment of rules for blocks allows simple, interactive solid and attribute modification on the fly.
Users can easily add density, tonnages etc. as populated variables for block models and produce block models ready for import into Maptek Evolution. This saves time and effort and reduces the risk arising from manually editing or miscalculation of variables. The specification can be saved for auditing and repeatability of the process.
Users can also populate Vulcan block models with the results from Evolution optimisation, enabling the creation of end-of-period maps and animation of the scheduling phases.
