Stope Optimiser

An add-on for Maptek Vulcan

The Stope Optimiser add-on contains integrated tools for quickly assessing multiple underground scenarios for producing optimised mineable regions.

Flexible configuration allows the tool to be applied to very steep orebodies or horizontal benches, making it useful for targeting mineable zones in open pit or horizontal underground designs.

Detailed reporting enables analysis and comparison of results, with stope triangulations ready for design, reserving and/or scheduling.

Integration within the Vulcan 3D environment makes Stope Optimiser the ideal platform for underground mining engineers who can focus on evaluating alternative designs rather than time-consuming manual tasks.

  • Read a Vulcan block model containing grade or economic information and output mineable shapes

  • Consider minimum pillar dimensions or exclusion zones for accurate designs
