Maptek, a leading technology solutions provider to the global mining industry, is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our Adelaide team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of parental leave. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting and shaping creative outcomes while ensuring alignment with our broader marketing objectives.

Joining a multidisciplinary team under the guidance of the Head of Customer Experience, this role involves collaborating with various teams across Maptek to produce top-tier designs that uphold and advance our brand identity. Your responsibilities as our Graphic Designer will include but not be limited to:

  • Produce compelling visual materials for various media including flyers, trade show booths, diagrams, advertisements, software release materials, newsletters, and user interfaces.
  • Engaging with and understanding the needs of global marketing teams, ensuring alignment with broader strategic objectives.
  • Upholding brand consistency while innovating and evolving the Maptek brand.
  • Liaising with internal and external teams to source and obtain visual assets, including photography, to enhance our design projects.
  • Overseeing aspects of the printing process, from liaising with suppliers and coordinating in-house printing efforts, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of final outputs.

A successful candidate will have:

  • A qualification in Graphic Design (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a relevant role, with a demonstrated track record of successful outcomes and deliverables.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Illustrator, Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working in a PC environment
  • Confident, enthusiastic, and energetic self starter
  • Capable of working autonomously with equal effectiveness in a collaborative team environment
  • Confident, enthusiastic, and energetic self starter
